The DCBA Venture Club Golf Outing and Banquet, co-hosted by Jason Luo and Frank Yang of the Detroit Chinese Business Association Advisory Board, will be held at the Bloomfield Hills Country Club (BHCC), 350 West Long Lake Road in Bloomfield Hills on August 12, 2019. Registration begins at 11:00 am.
The very limited $350 level lunch, 18-hole golf, in addition to a Venture Club wine reception and dinner banquet as well as evening networking, is by invitation only.
Invitations are for successful Automation Alley and other enterprise visionaries, executive decision makers with a passion for accelerating Michigan’s transformation locally and/or expanding globally.
The golf and banquet is limited to 5 BHCC members and 15 Venture Club guests.
The non-golf wine reception and banquet only, with keynote attendance, is limited to a total of 50 guests. $150
University of Michigan Alum Winston Wenyan Ma, CEO of Beijing-based China Silkroad Investment Capital, will serve as the keynote speaker. In addition to his MBA from the University of Michigan Ross Business School, Mr. Ma also earned a Master of Comparative Jurisprudence from the New York University School of Law and has served as adjunct professor at NYU School of Law where he concentrates on the digital economy and plans to develop more engagements with the UM big data community.
Having served 10 years as a Managing Director with China Investment Corporation (CIC - China’s $900 Billion Sovereign Wealth Fund, he will be addressing innovations, regulations, and geopolitics in the global digital silk road economy. Specific themes to be discussed are:
- Aggregating High Level Private Equity
- High-Level M&A
- Investment Banking
- Executives and Entrepreneurs
- Global Wealth Funds
- Deal Flow
